Several arm wrestlers (or "pullers" as they are known) have etched their names into the annals of the sport. Ron Bath. John Brzenk. Dave Chaffee. Matt Mask. Sylvester Stallone. (Okay, kidding on that last one.)

One figure, however, stands head and shoulders above everyone else. Before I introduce him to you, however, I must first tell you about Devon "No Limits" Larratt. Hailing from Canada, Devon has been a mainstay in the community for many years.

Known for his brash smack talk, seemingly endless stamina--allowing him to bleed out opponent after opponent--and his drive to train even harder if someone manages to topple him, thereby coming back even stronger, Devon could be regarded as the poster boy of the sport of arm wrestling.

The following video showcases Devon's fortitude. At about the 1:45 mark, he goes up against Ron Bath, himself a legendary puller. Bath was known for his explosive power at the immediate start of a match, oftentimes putting away his opponents quickly. Larratt, as mentioned, has ridiculous endurance and insane tendon strength. This allows him to withstand the initial pull from Bath, and steadily tire him out before claiming the W:

In short, it's rare to see Devon Larratt lose. He has long been regarded as the top puller on the planet. That is, until the arrival of Levan Saginashvili, the man to whom the topic title refers:

Okay, well the guy can't be THAT dominant, can he?

Well, since entering the top league around 2017, Levan has participated in so called "Supermatches." These are special one on one bouts separate from tournaments, pitting one badass puller against another, in a first-to-six-wins format.

Levan began crushing the competition, beating everyone in clean sweeps, 6-0. The best in the world. It was only a matter of time before he met Devon Larratt. Months ahead of time, the match was announced. Devon began training like a madman to get bigger and stronger than he's ever been.

This time, Devon's hammer trophy was on the line, signifying his position as the #1 right handed arm wrestler in the world. Finally, in June of this year, the two titans met.

And Devon. Got. Crushed.

Unbelievably, Levan once again routed his competition with six straight wins. He tore through Devon Larratt like a hot knife through butter. And by Levan's own admission, Devon is the second best arm wrestler in the world. Yet Levan still breezed through him with no trouble at all.

Levan earned the hammer, Devon's respect (Larratt even told him "Thank you for letting me be a part of your legacy") and the fear of all who now oppose him. Even the Wikipedia article on him states that athletes, experts and fans alike feel there is no one on the planet who can even challenge Levan.

Again, he's never even lost one round. He has swept the very best the sport has to offer. The guy is an animal.

Definitely a chill dude, just obscenely strong.
I'm hoping Denis Cyplenkov can get back to near his prime form. Could be the only challenge for Levan.

Haha, a.k.a. the Michael Todd Special.
Eh, I don't really have a problem with it. I can see why people may consider it cheap, but it's perfectly within the rules.
Plus when Devon tried it on Levan he ended up paying for it.

I haven't been keeping up with arm wrestling too much lately (last thing I paid attention to was Devon vs Levan) but it's cool to see a buncha legends chilling with each other!

Also, just wanted to say I love how a buncha peeps get mad at Devon for his trash talk and whatnot but dude is a complete angel outside of competition and always talking others up. You woulda thunk that people would catch on to the McGregor style of hyping up matches already, minus the being an actual scumbag and attacking people outside of matches lol

Yeah, I never got the Devon hate. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure a random recommended video on YouTube that had him in it is what got me interested in pro arm wrestling in the first place a few years back. He's the poster boy of the sport, IMO.

That's something I've noticed in many pullers though, not just Devon. Intense smack talk even during the match, but as soon as it's over, handshakes, nods of approval and congratulations.

The camaraderie is adorable.

Indeed! Like I know it's cheap attraction/heat but arm wrestling is a very niche sport that could use any publicity it can get and Devon is such a great ambassador for it.
