Episode 5 of Sandman? The Netflix show base on Neil Gaiman's comic's? I'd recommend finishing it before talking about whether it's advancing the plot or not, unless I am mistaken which episode that was. ... Copied to Clipboard!

The Beach and Footloose episodes of Avatar: TLA. Generally speaking, I find time loop episodes to be a lot of fun, even though they usually end in a reset and rarely advance the plot (with some exceptions). Examples include: Legends of Tomorrow Stargate SG1 The Librarians Supernatural (kinda, I guess this does somewhat advance the plot later on) --- Congratulations!
