There's not too much of a difference unless the air filter is completely filthy. Putting in new spark plugs makes a huge difference. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Spark plugs do, and I changed mine while replace the valve cover gasket since I was already in there. My Camry has 196k miles and a clean air filter does make a difference.
