neither the Physical Therapist nor the PT Assistant i was seen by last year and in 2020 when i did three rounds of 18 sessions for my chronic lower back pain are no longer working there. i'm kinda bummed about this. they were both really awesome. i have had a handful of disappointing experiences with physical therapists in the past, and i really felt like i had found a team that was absolutely the right fit. they really got me back on track with working to mitigate my back pain when it was at the worst it has ever been, and i was doing really good with the ongoing at-home regimen they built for me, all the way up until i got the hernia and have been unable to do any of it for about 6 months now. i was hoping to be able to go back to the same place i went before and see the same people i saw before, so that together we can build off of what we did before. i am expecting disappointment from having to start all over again with someone new.

i wonder if the new people will be able to tell me what happened to the practitioners who worked with me before, why they are not there anymore, if they are still in the area, if i can inquire about where they are practicing now. i also was looking forward to telling them about my planned small business venture making and selling my mini-cheesecakes at the local farmer's market as soon as i am physically able to, because i wouldn't have been able to even think about doing something like that if it wasn't for the care i received from them, the way my back pain was. i was gonna tell them they will be entitled to a freebie any time they drop by my booth, once i get it set up.

uuuuugghhhh.... this is so frustrating. anyway, /blogfaqs

feel free to share if you want

anyway, i guess i'm just hoping that i'll be able to find out where they practice at now, or at least one of them, but i know in general most companies are not very eager to elaborate on things about their ex-employees. especially if they didn't part on good terms, which i don't know if they did or not. is that generally any different in the case of medical practitioners though? you would think that if a patient gets good treatment from a provider and wants to look up that provider again, there would be some way of doing so.
