100%. They're already counting him out on NPR in favor of DeSantis. Republican political advisors are as well.

Hell be taken very seriously if he wins the primaries.

And really, where will people be getting their news for the 2024 election? Twitter will be dead soon. Meta is is being suffocated as we speak. Fox News will stay popular with the 60+ plus crowd. Does anyone use Trumps social media thing? Is this going to be the Reddit and tiktok election?

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Biden will be the Democrat nominee in 2024 unless something happens to him. In addition there was a comment from her a while back that she wouldn't run for presidency ever again and I have no reason to believe that she lied about that (she is a crappy conservative shill, not a habitual liar).

The other aspect is that the Republican party has been actually split at this point and there is a non-trivial amount of Republicans that will vote Libertarian if Trump is the nominee. While they are largely pretty hive-minded having their top two members at each other's throats is giving them enough mixed signals that whomever is the actual nominee is basically guaranteed to lose unless something changes (and don't take this as a "the Republicans 100% will lose this coming election, so don't bother caring" as there is still 2 years for something to transpire). If Trump is up, the DeSantis crowd will hate him + not vote for him. If DeSantis is up, the Trump crowd will hate him + not vote for him.

Too early to tell. They are going to wait and see what happens with the GOP before really getting too reactionary. I think people are overestimating the divide that may take place in the party but Im hoping Im wrong.
