dunno in regards to this topic lol. but its one of the few episodes where otto (the bus driver) has a big role.

Yes. The vast majority of 22 episode a season shows were complete shit. Another healthy chuck were at most 13 good episodes and 11 episodes of filler. A rare few actually were good for their 22 episode seasons.

Honestly there are a bunch of things in older seasons of The Simpsons that haven't aged well, like the frequent gay jokes, other trans jokes, and use of terms that are being more widely recognized as not okay.

One example is that the season I'm on (not sure of the actual number, it's somewhere between 12 and 20, just been background noise right now) has been using [a word starting with "m" commonly used to refer to people with dwarfism] a lot for seemingly no reason, and now it's becoming more recognized that this word is considered an offensive slur among the dwarf community and they really hate it.

I cant think of anything in that episode that would warrant a cancellation. And Im sure whatever it is could be talked about here because Im sure its not that bad.
