Why is Greyoll asleep?

Do you think Greyoll is worth keeping around? Im just there on a new file and I whittled it down to a fraction of health and it seems so wrong. When I was entering Caelid and crossed that first fiery wall, I considered this. The mentality of this game. Or mentalities. And then I find this article ofc https://screenrant.com/elden-ring-caelid-white-dragon-greyoll-dragonbarrow-farming/ and I think I read another one which describes a better farming location from a secret warp point near Third Church. So its just like. And the Elden Ring board is so at night.

In other words you can look at killing her as a mercy since dying to Scarlet Rot is a slow, painful death (unless it's against the player then it's a somewhat quick death).

If she wasn't incapacitated she would rip you a new one.

Im glad I chose to reflect instead of just taking Greyoll out. Turns out if you wait long enough, a smaller dragon will circle around the area to behind Greyoll, which made for a great moment in my file haha

Greyolls area is considered a different location from Caelid, so my first thought is something to do with the Scarlet Rot or the Frenzy Flame and Mogh bloodgod stuff, but theres other characters like Miquella who are afflicted with their own sickness, or even Ranni who goes into hibernation, so Im just not sure what to think about this particular dragon. Mother of all dragons? Is there a father? Haha
