I actually finished all quests. That was... alright I'll admit, after sucking it up and actually focusing through the rooms, that was less awful than I was expecting. I died a couple of times but I made it through.

Definitely used the ancient arrows to kill the lynels and guardians instantly, I was not gonna waste precious time and energy and weapons on them.

It was nice of them to give us a couple of fairies in the rest floors, I'll admit I did get careless and screw up a couple of times and would have gotten a frustrating game over if the fairies hadn't brought me back to life.

Now do it again in hard mode.

So this is it, I have the master sword at full power regardless of where I am. Which... is still the weakest of all my weapons lol, since they all range from 80-100 in attack power while the master sword is only 60. I knew the reward was lame but I just did it to complete all the quests.

Does suck to have all these nifty healing items and gear and nothing to use them on now...

Boy it would be freaking sweet if the sequel had some carryover from our botw save file.

It wouldn't be too out there since the Wolf Link amiibo kinda did that. But also it would be infuriating as someone who played BotW on Wii U. :|

I actually tried master mode for like half an hour. When I started realizing that enemies regen their HP, I immediately quit and went back to the main menu. Sure as shit not gonna give such a tedious mechanic the time of day.

It's a shame too because I really wanted to fight gold lynels but they're only available in master mode. Silver lynels are the highest that normal mode will go.

I managed to complete it by the skin of my teeth. At one point I was cooking and eating wood from the trees.

Man, I didn't have that much trouble, but I did fuck up and accidentally overwrote my 30 minute attack+++ boost a little over halfway in

I can't imagine the load times and pop in for the game on wii u but then again I don't know how much more powerful switch is

Why specifically wolf link and not all the other costume sets they released like fierce deity link?

From what I hear, the performance is pretty similar between the U and Switch versions. I think the Switch version suffers less horrific slowdown when moblins die. Anyway I don't remember too much loading on Wii U.

The Wolf Link thing was a tie-in with Twilight Princess HD. You complete a dungeon there, save your progress to the Wolf Link amiibo, and get a Wolf Link companion in BotW when you scan the amiibo. The farther you got in the dungeon, the more health the wolf had in BotW. Or something like that.

I wish they'd do the same with the bokoblin amiibo. I fucking love BotW bokoblins, and having one as a traveling companion would be rad. Especially since the boko amiibo had like the worst rewards of any Zelda-specific amiibo.

So this is it, over 2 years later I actually beat all of breath of the wild for real this time. All the missing quests, side quests, shrine quests... even trial of the sword.

Even though I spent over 200 hours in the game I still want to do more. I'm just driving around the overworld on my bike fighting guardians and other enemies, even though collecting items is pointless now.

Say "So this is it" one more time
