It was actually that bonus disk on Halo 2 that specifically sold me on it. Probably a trip to watch now considering they're hyping up how tense CTF is lol. But yeah despite the subscription fee (which people often forget initially existed because there was no digital store when Live launched) it overall did change online gaming on consoles for the better.
