If they were ordering it for me then I would take issue, otherwise, you can eat it raw or nibble on it as a charcoaled husk. I don't give a fuck.

It's really not that bad when it's a cheap ass cut of steak, it's just the people who Well Done every cut of red meat because they think Myoglobin is infected blood that are weird.

2. I have come to accept that there are many, many people out there who have objectively wrong shit opinions, and a lot of them maintain those 'just for the lulz', because they think it's 'awesome' and 'hilarious'.

last night my gf ordered a burger "medium" and i kinda cringed, i was like ok she probably knows better than me i'm sure it's fine. man that burger came out and it was red... she said it was good but yuck. i had a med rare steak but i don't like ground beef like that.

I prefer steak medium-rare, but it's such a lovely cut of beef that really, raw*, rare, medium, well-done are all good enough in my opinion.
Raw, with an egg on top (ala steak tartare).

Don't care I've ate all in my life and have been ok with all. I'd rather have well done than rare. Medium rare is where it's at though.

That said, anyone that applies 2 to 3 sentences to every piece of food they order do annoy me.

"I want a medium-rare steak, but can you make sure the grill doesn't char it too much. Also, make sure the potatoes don't touch it. What? It doesn't come with potatoes? Why not? Can you ask if we can make that work? With no salt please."

I can understand if this happened sometimes, but I work with someone who does it constantly.

Getting angry over how other people like their food is baby behavior.

I will certainly admit that some decisions, like ordering well-done or needing steak sauce, is a waste of good meat, but whatever. Im not eating your steak, and assuming I owned a steakhouse Id still want money from people with poor taste.

I feel strongly about how steak should be prepared but it's none of my business to tell somebody else how to eat their food.

I don't care if you eat your meat bleeding, carbonised or anything in between.
