SNES captures the story and characters better, but has slower gameplay and fewer boss fights. The three that they have are of a higher quality though. The sword is kind of a nonfactor for me because Aladdin didn't have a sword in the movie except for the decorative sword he lifted from Jaffar for the final battle.
