A good guy with a dog stopped a bad guy with a dog. Exactly as the founders intended.

I do but mine is on good enough voice command and never goes outside without me or another family member.

If she wanted my next door neighbors chihuahua dead it'd be dead. They leave it outside unsupervised all the time and it comes yapping its tiny head off at my pit bull like it would stand a chance.

It's hard to say if the dog was really excited to maul the kid or just saw another dog and sprinted at it

yea, little dogs should definitely be leashed and supervised, too, even if it's just for their own safety.

Being bitten or having a dog ruin my clothing by being near it is bad enough, but even if I safely avoid an interaction with a dog, I'd have to watch out for stepping on dog poop because no one picks up after their dog.

So yeah dogs have got to go. They're nothing but a hindrance.
