It is. Thankfully, we are seeing more states incorporate Ranked Choice Voting, so this is going to ease it atleast a bit. Hopefully, we can wiggle out of this shit.

Cortez-Masto is probably going to pull this out, making Georgia potentially the 51st seat.

The House remains in the balance primarily because California and New York have non-partisan districting and the New York Democratic Party is fucking terrible and did an awful job.

Yep. And all the gerrymandering that happened nationwide.

But it's incredible that the potential to pull out a +1 in the midterms for Senate seats is crazy for Democrats.

With the way the electoral college is set-up, the presidential election can only support two real candidates. Until the one-time popular vote, 270 to win it, is somehow fixed, if there were ever more than two parties, we, the people, would never actually get to vote for a president again effectively.

Yeah it makes sense. With Vegas+suburbs and Reno+suburbs accounting for over half the population of the State, any small change in those areas could swing an entire election.
