It honestly doesn't seem like that long ago that I was a "gaunt looking" college freshman. I've actually been putting off weighing myself for a month because I needed to eat fast food almost every day and knew I'd gained, but it still caught me off guard.

I didn't think it would bother me so much, but I'm starting to feel some resentment rise up. If I had been popular and successful at dating in my early 20s, it wouldn't have been such a big deal.

But the combination of age and genetics means if guys aren't popular in their teens they slowly become doomed to being social outcasts the rest of their lives. I've seen the same thing happen to many of my uncles who put on staggering amounts of weight as they got older. Now they're stuck being miserable for the remaining half of their lives.

'im doomed to be unlovable for the rest of my life' is a self-fulfilling prophecy. u need to actually work on yourself lol. that doesn't necessarily have to mean losing weight but it does mean caring about yourself and demonstrating that in some way

I'm not really sure what to say here cause you joke about this kind of stuff so much that I can't tell if this topic is sincere or not. If you are being sincere then I guess all I can say is stop valuing yourself on the idea of getting laid. People stress eat for all kinds of reasons though so there's more to it, but it isn't something I have personal perspective on

Plus even if you eat fast food, it won't make you fat. There have been people who lost weight while eating McDonald's, etc.
