Honestly, I think there really is something to a lot of women getting married and just following whatever their husbands say (in this case, voting). I have seen it first hand with some friends. It's like they unlearned how to think for themselves.

Yeah, I was thinking this as well. Even some of the most liberal women after getting married to a more conservative man will mold herself to follow her husband's ideologies. I'm guessing it's to keep their own marriage afloat.

Why is 2022 being compared to 2018 which was when the Republicans were in power and there was basically a blue wave. Whereas the Democrats did notably well for a party in power in 2022

It means that once again, if racial minorities hadn't turned out in huge, possibly record numbers for some elections, then things would have been much worse. Conversely, it means that any policies that might protect racial minorities are less and less important to white women and that it will only continue to grow worse and much more dangerous for everyone who isn't a white cis hetero able-bodied male.

I think this has more to do with their hate of the Democrat party than it is for their support of abortion. I mean look at all the propositions that won in support of abortion across the nation. Abortion is not as divisive as the media makes it out to be. A majority of the country supports it including Republicans.
