This was supposed to star Tom Cruise. No studio wanted to fund it because they didn't think there was an audience for it. And then Prometheus came out and they said it would be too similar. Studios are hella dumb.

Good news is this is the first thing he pitched to Netflix and they signed him on for a multi movie deal so we might eventually get it.
