Tailgating is bad but I'm not sure about toilet seat one. I'm not gonna sit on a public toilet seat to pee are you insane. Like sure I might use my shoe to lift up the toilet seat back when I was athletic and could balance but now its a public toilet already ridden with urine and poop, I'm just gonna pee in the general direction of the bowl and get out of there as quick as possible.

I'm a somewhat overly cautious driver myself, but just to play devil's advocate for a second, I feel like if you can't go at least the limit even in the right lane you gotta get off the road. (Barring car troubles or circumstances out of your control, of course.) In other words, sometimes it's hard to not tailgate for a minute behind someone going ten under until you have an opening to go around.

Its ridden with urine because a lazy trash person like you cant lift the toilet seat to go pee, so you piss on the seat. You dont care about anybody but yourself. You dont care about the next person who has to take a shit in that public bathroom. There is little difference between the guy that shits on the walls and you.

Pretty much. Theres zero excuse for tailgating. Alot of people are just super impatient. I'll be going 5 over the speed limit and people still riding on my ass. And if someone is going really slow then find an opportunity to go around them. Don't ride their ass to encourage them to speed up.

Then the dumbass drunk driver tailgater behind you crashed into the back of you and you cant stop in time because of them. Theres no reason tailgaters need to have a licence, just shred them all

There's never a reason not to keep space between you and the car in front of you. "Tailgating for a minute" isn't going to magically open up the space on your left that you need to pass the car in front of you.

It was an early Sunday morning with, if you can believe it, no traffic on the road.

I had put my cruise-control on and was in the rightmost lane when someone merged onto the highway behind me and began to tailgate. After a little bit, I started thinking, "WTF?!? There are two other, completely empty, lanes. If you don't like my speed, pass!"

But they didn't. So I turned my cruise-control off and started to coast, slowly slowing down.

Do you know how fast I was going before the fuckwit realized they could pass... and did?

12 MPH.

Twelve fucking miles per hour. The fucking fuckwit couldn't figure out that they could pass until then.

I hate right-lane tailgaters almost as much as I hate left-lane campers.

Literally no one wants to go slow except the highly anxious, and there you are in the area designated for them to do just that, riding their ass, honking your horn.

Thats's really weird of him to do. Maybe there was a right turn he was trying to get to?

I think the middle lane is best for slowness because there are turns on the right lane and exits that some people get to so in the middle you're perfectly natural.

That's typically the lane I use while working. Vehicle speed is tracked so I can't speed but I don't want to be in the right lane for all those same reasons you mentioned.

You don't understand, it's dangerous because they don't pay attention to the speed of drivers ahead of them. They assume that all people must be driving 5 over the limit at all times.

So who's the dangerous one in that situation? The person driving a legally acceptable speed, or the person who doesn't notice it?

Tailgaters should have their license revoked. As should anyone who constantly drives 15+ UNDER the speed limit. Unless it's one of them big rigs or a super large work truck of some sort. That's understandable. But the Karen doing 40 in a 60 zone driving her RAV4.... abolish her license.
