Having to do everything at one time with time pressure that could have been avoided!

This weekend + today I have written 3 assignments, ~6000-6500 words, with citations, structure and all that academic stuff. It has been pretty stressful, as I kinda hate how that part of academia is structured (at least in my field, where I feel it should be more about what knowledge I have obtained and what I can teach to pupils, not how to write academic papers).

This is exactly the type of behavior I warn my pupils about, haha.
I tell them honestly that I regret my lack of a strategy every f-ing time, though, haha. It's way better to get done with stuff first and have the free time without the burden that you need to finish something later.

I'm exhausted, but also happy that I'm done, so just wanted to share this happy feeling. I think people use /blogfaqs for situations like this, hehe.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

That's a good dad joke, actually. Will remember it!

Procrastination effects my mood more than anything. I am miserable to myself and everyone around me when I do it. I have been cognizant to do it less lately and I've been a much happier person since.
