it's probably in the privacy policy/terms of use that you consent to just by using those pages.

if you don't like it, don't visit those pages or use an adblocker or something

Not only do I block advertisements, but I also have browser add-ons to skip over YouTube paid sponsorship segments and bypass news websites' paywalls.
