My friends circle is like 2-3 guys who I'm very tight with, then expands to 6 who are also great friends, have each others backs, then expands to like 11 who are all close, same group chat, we do trips together, bachelor parties. It includes cousins, family of mine and some of the other guys' cousins and siblings. The only issue is that our schedules are so fucked that we can only do things max once a year.
