I never get that problem but I imagineeeee anything else you do to ruin your body can be mitgated by copious amounts of alcohol.

Never experienced this yet and I eat absolute garbage, but multiple family members in their 50's and 60's have it pretty bad so I guess it's on the horizon for me.

Viagra can also cause vicious heartburn as a side effect, and at least for me the heartburn lasts waaaaaaaaay longer than the boner.

I have in fact turned down sex because of the heartburn deterrent. My teenage self would be disgusted with me.

I would avoid tums, they'll lead to kidney stones if you eat alot of them.

I got on omeprazole years ago and it generally does ok preventing heartburn and reflux. Not great at alleviating symptoms though. It's available otc at Walmart, like $15 for 48 20mg pills iirc.

If I've already had a pill, I'll drink some milk or eat some cheese. Cottage cheese works well for me as well, but I stopped buying it because it's so expensive.

Pretty sure the specialist I saw mentioned that symptoms and triggers can be very specific to individuals, and what works for 1 person may not work well for you, so good luck I guess.

Tums worked for me a couple days ago.
