yes it has boring 100 hour dungeons.

I went into Mementos for the first time since unlocking it and cleared it to the next lock. After selling loot off I had about 200k yen. Damn, thats like 140k more than Ive ever had at once before. Time to finally get me some equipment upgraded and still have more money than I will ever need left over.

Question. Are there secret locks on bomd progressions om characters that keep you from advancing them begore meeting requirements like story advancement or whatever? Because I hang out with Sojiro a bunch and he keeps being at rank three whereas I have Ann at rank 5 with much less effort. I suppose I get more chances to bond with her through the story, but the disparity seems extreme. Like maybe I have to meet Futaba before he can go further. Obviously doesnt apply to bonds that advance through the story like Igor. And I am using the relevant personas so thats not it.

Also are there unique missable bond events? Ann phoned me to talk about some bullcrap about strengthening her heart and we went and had that for an event and it really felt like advancing her character at any other time would not have given that event.

Hierophant: Rank 5 locked until 8/22
Sun: Must reach rank 10 by 11/13.
Justice: Rank 6 locked until 9/3. Rank 7 locked until 11/2. Must reach rank 8 before calling card for 6th palace is sent (part of true ending).
Faith: Must reach rank 5 by 12/22 (part of true ending).
Counsellor: Must reach rank 9 by 11/18 (required to reach 3rd semester).

The game doesnt tell you this stuff and I was really annoyed when I found out and had to restructure my plans to get a specific confidant. The fact that you could jump into the game as a brand new player and get locked out of the last dungeon in the game is dumb

It's a dungeon crawler so once you reach the dungeons you will spend a long time in them.
