I feel like I havent really heard anything about it since it came out. Is it any good? Im not huge into RPGs but SMT is one of the few exceptions, though even then I only like a handful of them.

I think I was waiting to hear about a potential PC port because some traces of that were found in the files, but now that its been about a year I feel like that wouldve been announced by now. Maybe I should wait until the 1 year anniversary just to be sure in case theres some contract in place with Nintendo. But I mean, its Altus, we only just now got P5R on PC so who knows with them.

it's ok. If you enjoy the SMT combat, it's as good as it can be. The story is dumb, the game kinda looks like shit, frame rate chugs a lot and the environment design is boring as hell

The battle system is great as always. The atmosphere of the game is phenomenal, and the game mostly uses a quasi-open world that works very well. There are a few traditional dungeons, and they are mediocre and bad. Story isn't that good besides a few stand out moments. The game also chugs on Switch hardware. An actual PC port would be great.

Great gameplay and exploration. The story and characters are poor, though. It also suffers from a lack of proper dungeons, with the two in the game being very lackluster, especially compared to the ones in previous games across the Megaten series.

Still, I feel it's worth a buy.

Sounds like reception is a bit more negative than I expected but I havent found a game Ive been able to get into since Elden Ring so I think Im desperate enough to take my chances with this one

Its a great game. Just make sure you play on Hard mode and interact with the demons as you explore.

It is a Shin Megami Tensei game. It has gameplay and a story.
