There's the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. Hocus Pocus is a great Halloween movie. The VVitch has made vvaves in recent years. There really aren't too many other witch movies. Even Halloween 3: Season of the Witch didn't have a witch in it. Forget complaining about the absence of Michael Myers -- the title character isn't in the movie! I guess there's The Craft. I never saw that one. But what else is there? Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters? That movie wasn't great, but I give them props for making witches a legit threat. ... Copied to Clipboard!

They are but witch's are generally only a significant plot element in fantasy settings where only they can utilize magic from what I usually notice. And aside from the costume there isn't really anything else that separates them from any other kind of generic magic users.
