got 1000 hours between LE and SE versions according to steam and i just learned theres a whole ass daedric quest for mephala in fuckin dragonsreach basement. i didnt even know fuckin dragonsreach had a basement. or that jarl balgruuf had kids.

anyways, playing the septimus mod pack with some shit i added on, 1008 active mods atm. been trying to beat all the vanilla shit before i start the big expansion mods the pack added. so far i got all the daedric quests done, thieves guild, mage college, dawnguard, and im workin thru companions right now. got 1150 displays at the dragonborn museum, like 400 of those are books tho.

getting kinda burnt out on companions but i dont wanna be a fucken werewolf. prolly gonna do one of the expansion mods before i start dragonborn. dunno if which to do tho. this pack has project AHO, moon and star, falskaar, wyrmstooth, midwood isle, darkend, and vigilant. really wanna do vigilant but kinda wanna save it for the end.

lv49 atm mostly 2H greatswords and heavy armor.

ummm if you combine both editions, steam would say 3rd. it says ESO is my #1 with 2200 hours but i prolly didnt even play 200 hours, i think it counted it as playtime for just the launcher being open on my desktop. so #1 is SWTOR i guess and thats bc i spent all of covid lockdown decorating houses in that game.

And holy shit that's a lotta mods. What portion of that 1k is from the Septimus pack? I'd be so hesitant of getting caught in a cycle of fix one thing, lose something else.

like 800. most of the mods i added are theoretically stuff that shouldnt conflict with anything else. (npc replacers, new armors, hairs, etc.)

i did have to download a shit ton of mods to fix argonian and khajiit feet tho. i'm using the realore skin texture and it doesnt have feet textures for beast races, so every fuckin argonian and khajiit had purple missing texture feet lol. so i got a whole ass foot replacer that changes the skeleton of khajiit/argonian to have digitigrade feet. looks pretty dope, but it had so many fuckin subrequirements (half were oldrim mods) it was a mess to get working properly. looks cool tho (not my screenshot)

thanks c: i spent prolly 50 of those 223 hrs in racemenu fucking with his face sculpt lol. theres dozens of saves in my racemenu folder of me going god damn it his left eyebrow is 1cm too high. see i have to have tons of backups because eventually i fuck with it too much and he ends up looking like an absolute mutant, so i gotta have something to go back to

also wtf, i just got a letter from the jarl of winterhold (they had a jarl?) asking me to come stand trial for the crimes the college of mages has committed. is this vanilla? never seen this quest before. but this is like only the second time ive ever done the college because i never play a caster. i RPed in my head this time that my dude is a magic swordsman but tbh idc

i got oblivion in like 2009 or something but i had just come off my first playthough of dragon age origins and oblivion seemed like absolute shit in comparison. played it for like two hours had no clue wtf i was supposed to be doing (think it might have been my first open world RPG, idk, i played almost exclusively JRPGs all through my childhood), and never touched it again.

i keep meaning to go back to it, but w/o any nostalgia for it its rough

man so i'm playing on legendary difficulty because my dude is a stone cold bamf chudshredder, and anything less is too easy, but the difficulty is getting kinda fucky. especially with dragons. theres a mod in this pack that makes them 1.5x stronger by default, so theyve got legendary x1.5 stats. i can tank a fuckin flame breath to the face if i got flame resist pots, but one bite and im done son. being a melee character, its basically fuckin impossible to fight them so i gotta be a pussy sneak archer on dragons. which isnt fun.

just got into a fight with two dragons at once and it was an absolute goddamn chore, and the second dragon bugged out when i killed it and wouldnt give me quest completion. so i had to reload and just fuckin kill commanded them shits.

yeah bijin is dope, it's in here. this astrid replacer is pandorable's npcs i think, which covers most of the npcs that bijin warmaidens and bijin wives doesnt. and then panda also has small packs for alternatives to bijin, cause i think bijin hasnt been updated in forever but idk

heck yeah! honestly its hard to keep up with anymore, the mod scene kind of got a second wind when wabbajack and nexus collections and stuff came out. i've been just browsing sorting by most downloaded over a time period of 1 year. for npc overhauls, pandorables and bijin are my go to, but theres a bunch of ppl working on different ones now to the point that every vanilla npc has been covered one way or another. theres a guy named modpocalypse that i think has the whole vanilla game and most big mods covered, but his are hit or miss because they were done with AI assistance I think

kinda diggin the dark brotherhood leathers but my light armor skill is ass. and i wish gamefaqs didnt make all my screenshots look like shit and i wish i wasnt too lazy to use imgur
