What would you do if your account/character ever got deleted? Would you start a new character or just give up on the game?

I'd be a little sad but then I'd move on. One, because I'm not really interested in starting over from scratch in an MMO, and two because it would be a good excuse to put the game behind me and move on to play newer things.

I have actually started a brand new account with no association to my other account in wow before. No achievements, no transmog, no nothing.

It's not that big of a deal, but I'd be really bummed out if I lost my especially rare mounts and legacy achievements. Wouldn't stop me from playing altogether, but it's not ideal lol

I suppose it's a little different for wow since it's an alt-based game and they do a lot of things to make sure your new character can get to max level pretty quickly.

Yeah, it only takes a couple of days to level to max now. I once timed myself in BfA when the maximum was 120, and it took me about 36 hours to get from 1 to 120. I wasn't even speed running it or anything, just playing at an ordinary pace.

I'm a lifer kind of guy. I stick to one character/account forever. If it's gone, I'm gone.
