from what I can tell:

  • there's one contestant, one "hunter", and one trap room (the one where the dude stays in the room
  • the contestant has to make it to the exit without being caught by the hunter or walking into the trap room

Not get tagged by the guardians of the room. Then making it to the exit.

Yeah the guard could just camp the exit, but im sure they are not allowed in the sake of fairness.

Oh look it is The Square Maze from Takeshi's Castle a gameshow from Japan made in the 1980's.

They have far better games than that in Takeshi's Castle.

I have watched the entire series countless times thanks to Challenge TV here in the United Kingdom.
