Chicago Board of Elections started mailing out ballots on the first of the month. I do not know anyone who has gotten his ballot.

It is going to be a pain to not even be able to early vote. You cannot even see when your ballot is mailing.

Has anyone else gotten his mail in ballot?

Are mail carriers going to be working 48 hour shifts the week before the election?

I got it within the last week. I actually wanted it really earlier so I could have a lot of time to study/vote/fill it out while I was off from work, but now I have to wait for my next day off to have enough time to do it. I only drop it off on Election Day anyway tho, I don't mail it in.

You basically can't get a mail-in ballot in my state unless you will be out of the county the entire day. Yay red states...

I'll just show up tuesday.

Just voting to legalize weed, and probably leaving the rest blank.

I always go in person.

I mean Chicago sends you an email when your ballot is put in your mailbox but says nothing until then.

With the housing crunch mail carriers have more to do. There are twice as many apartments per building and more names per apartment. I do not see how the ballots are going to be delivered at this late date.

Mine has still not been delivered to me.

Interesting though that Republicans do not have candidates for several offices. Did they not bother or did they not qualify? For instance Cook County Assessor has no Republican candidate.
