Just had to talk the team down from murder. This game seems sort of back-loaded. The start and middle have definitely not been so intense, aside from one peak with shadow Teddie.

If I went in blind and hadn't been spoiled by a billion internet threads I'm not sure I would've been able to put together who the killer is, except by process of elimination of important characters.

as someone who DID face it blind, that's sort of what you do. No, there's nothing really telling you outright. There's no big "AHA" clue like in other games in the series with similar twists. Just the classic "mystery story" formula: if you eliminate the choices that are obviously impossible, you're left with the truth.

I think it's definitely shocking but goes to show how well they hid their involvement.

Yeah the actual mystery elements aren't very well done. The game is too afraid of giving you any actionable clues or suspects except to immediately reveal that they're a red herring (lol gamer nerd). From what I've read, I think it was the first time any of the writers had done a mystery story, though. >_>

The whole December arc is definitely crammed. It was originally the end of the game, but in Golden you can play through some Jan/Feb shenanigans and if you maxxed Aeon there's an extra little story arc you can do then.

I hated how the dialogue options there lead to true ending or multiple bad ones

Not totally convinced that Dojima is buying the TV world exists because Adachi slipped up saying "threw them in"; Adachi is so incompetent that him 'code switching' to the teenagers' language would be in-character.

Well no, not just an intelligent. He also had a deep loathing for humans in general as well as the aspects of his life he had been born into and fallen into such as being placed in such a small town for his police assignment.

But yeah, mostly he just hated people and especially women.

I actually enjoyed it that way. It was not telegraphed at all. It was just like... wait a minute... the culprit being Namatame just doesn't add up

I will grant you that it's not particularly WELL foreshadowed. And even then, it doesn't make a ton of sense until the golden/true ending stuff. But Ame-no-sagiri is definitely not just some random eye monster.

How much Marie did you do? I know who poems and I guess the way that can could be dumb. I never finish these follow ups except for P3 to some extent. Marie had nice socks and was neat.

TLDR I am not a waifu addict (orgasm addict hey that's a buzzcocks song also holy crap, I can post a band and not get in trouble). I like game chicks of course (Candy Cane - all time fav). But yea even Royal, I just spoiled myself on it and just things I was never going to go through that again it was so easy at times.

I put her to 10 because I heard you have to for Golden but frankly she reminds me of my sister in a bad way so i feel nothing romantic towards her and find her mannerisms super annoying. She's probably genuinely my least favorite girl.

Marie is great. She's got great fashion sense and I love her edgy emo poetry

I was drunk and tired when I last posted, but I do like her fashion sense. I played a little of P4 Golden on steam but never got far enough for it to really matter. I did some interactions with her.

Those days playing P4 on PS2 and simpler times.

Well in original P4, after you beat the December boss, it fast-forwarded right to March for that section. What you're playing now is all new stuff kinda just plopped in there >_>

It kinda does, but there's zero gameplay penalties for fucking everyone at once. In fact it benefits you because you get additional cutscenes that you wouldn't normally get. And whatever happens on V-day doesn't affect the story at all after that day is over >_>
