I think my backup drive is dying. It's a 6TB... Should I? --- Fear the http://img.pestilenceware.com/Zangulus/Beard.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

What's the damage/cost? If your backup drive is dying, definitely. --- http://www.last.fm/user/walkingishonest ... Copied to Clipboard!

Kombucha posted... What's the damage/cost? $720. I could save a lot of money by going HDD again... but I kind of want the speed of SSD. --- Fear the http://img.pestilenceware.com/Zangulus/Beard.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

ZangsBeard posted... $720. Yeah that's pretty expensive. I guess it makes sense, as I spent about $100 recently on a 1TB SSD. The speed is definitely worth the extra cost. --- http://www.last.fm/user/walkingishonest ... Copied to Clipboard!

Kombucha posted... Yeah that's pretty expensive. I guess it makes sense, as I spent about $100 recently on a 1TB SSD. It's the only HDD in my system. I have an M.2 and a PCI-E M.2 drive I have in this thing that add up to 1.2TB... and I spent way more than this hard drive. But both are significantly faster (they're also my two main drives.) I'm just waffling between just replacing the drive for significantly cheaper, or getting the SSD because I have a ton of media on that drive that I get tired of waiting for it to load. --- Fear the http://img.pestilenceware.com/Zangulus/Beard.jpg ...
