...fix inflation....but how many of you think that either major party, can? Like if it was mostly repubs. or dems. in charge or a certain president. That anyone can get a handle on it?

The asshole who is going to be governor here is promising to lower property taxes. Property taxes are a local issue and a Governor has virtually no way to lower it.

Its an obvious attempt to get votes in cities.

Only the federal reserve can really do much to reduce inflation. Most Congress can do is not pass bills that cause inflation.

The state can give aid to towns to lower mill rates. My property tax always has a disclaimer that says town mill rate would have been X without state aid.
