Gameplay is a lot of fun. Nothing overly different from other strat JRPG's, but fun.

Story is less intense than FFT but has some intrigue going on and has more input from the player on how the narrative plays out.

Music is nice.

Great game. The gameplay is solid, but where the game really shines is in it's choice system. When faced with a major decision, the MC let's his team vote on which course of action they should take. They all explain why they think their choice is the best, then you have to try and persuade the nay sayers to see your side of things. It's so much fun seeing how much (or how little) you can influence your team and how the story plays out based on what choices get chosen.

That said, if you're on the fence about it, there's a demo for the game that let's you experience the first three chapters of the game. And your progress carries over should you decide to buy the full game.

Gameplay 8/10 when you're not grinding which you'll do a lot so it is dragged down to like 6/10 by the end, it sucks that half the characters even at low levels make it obvious their unique skills are garbage

Story 8.5/10 the characters aren't all necessarily that intriguing but the scenarios themselves and the choice system affecting things really does feel well thought out and I can recommend the game on the story alone if it came down to it

Music is like a 7/10 it doesn't have any stand out themes and they all blur together in hindsight, but the music never really feels bad or inappropriate to the scene that's going on. Maybe a bit generic at times but it does at least have a good handful of battle themes so it doesn't get tiring hearing them unless you play for all the ending routes in a row.

With that last point, I'd say definitely only play 1 or 2 routes then take a break for awhile and come back for the rest later. Burn out is real. :/

That sounds really interesting actually. If you can answer without spoiling, are there ever moments where someone is like completely and categorically against a decision and will abandon you/fight you if you pick it? Like such a choice is completely against their beliefs or goals or something and they would do anything to accomplish it

just based on that description of that system you gave it seems like that sort of drama would shine

The climactic "which ending are we going for" choice a few chapters before the end of each route, yeah. Also some choices might make one key party member be missing for a few chapters but they return.

The story takes its time to get going but its pretty alright. It won't blow your mind like other giants of the genre but its a lot better than your typical Fire Emblem story.

The gameplay is a ton of fun. I'd say get it if you like the genre.

ive never played other major strategy games like FFT or Let us Cling Together, the only ones ive really played are a few fire emblems and XCOM 1 & 2

I was gonna play FFT but I heard the best version is on smartphones (i did buy it but didnt start it yet cause im not a fan of touch screen gaming), and i heard LUCT is getting a remake on steam and maybe even FFT

I regret buying it tbh.

Im assuming steam has a demo for it like the switch does, and the switch demo is a couple hours long minimum unless youre skipping all the dialogue. Try it and see if its for you.

Great game. It has neat mechanics and good map design. Its fairly challenging and has plenty of replay value.
