if Im making chicken and rice or something else with chicken in it as a component, I prefer thighs

I think because they are juicy. Its nearly impossible to overcook a chicken thigh. Plus, they are dirt cheap, making them even more appealing during inflation.

Ive always cooked chicken breast. No bones and no skin make it easy to eat. Downfall is that it can dry out quite quick and its expensive.

My issue is consistency, unless I know the deal I'll order thighs because the breast dries too fast. Plus thighs usually have a higher flavor profile from the iron ect. So it stands out under a stores fry batter.

My current fried chicken spot I'll order both because it's always fresh,crispy and juicy.

I think tomorrow Ill buy some chicken thighs (bone in and skin on) and marinate them in olive oil, crushed garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, sea salt, and lemon juice.

This will be my first time in a long time cooking thighs. Not kidding when I say I havent cooked some in years.

I pick Chicken Breast, but only because I cook it a certain way. On the BBQ, grill cleaned with onion juice so it adds a nice taste to it, salt and pepper with hot sauce.

Thighs are tastier but breasts are healthier so I opt for breasts most of the time on my regular meal rotation. I'll throw in a thigh meal once in a while.

Fresh if possible.
I do use dried Rosemary, but it can be a bit needly if not cooked thoroughly.

Both are good but I usually buy thighs because theyre cheap if you get them with bone and skin still on. The skin is effortless to remove and the bone is irrelevant.
