Cyberpunk 2077 is highly based on what the 1980s thought the future would be. Hence many of the cars looking like they are from the 80s and a lot of the technology being based on the 1980s thinking such as using a literal wire to connect to electronics instead of it all being wireless. --- We all live in a Yellow SUV! a Yellow SUV! ...
