Do you think that the show should just continue until Robert becomes king?

After this Dance of Dragons war is over, they should just go onto what happens next. In theory that would be cool, but thats an insane amount of time, money, actors etc. that would just not be possible. It'd have to go on for a Gunsmoke-like level of seasons ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't think they'll do that. I think they're focusing on multiple series rather than one long one like Game of Thrones. So this will focus on the book and then we'll have other series based on other parts of the ASoIaF world.. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Next chapter is the kids growing up, and then Daeron I invades Dorne, which could be a whole season. Then after that, it goes onto Baelor I. A lot of them die young, so you can fit more and more with the time jumps. I think they can easily do the next 200 years in just 5 seasons.
