Neighbors said it took several people, including a school bus driver, to get the dog off of the 8-year-old student as he was getting on the school bus Tuesday morning. The 8-year-olds mother said he will be okay. She said if it wasn't for neighbors, like her friend, Taylor Douglas, and the boy's brave bus driver, she was not sure what kind of injuries her son could have had. Taylor Douglas said it was a normal day of getting her kids ready for school, when she heard screaming coming from outside her window. By the time the mother of five opened the door, she could see the dog attacking her son, as the bus driver and neighbors tried to save him. She said she is thankful for the bus driver's quick response to make sure the boy didn't get hurt in the attack. "He was crying. Recalled Taylor Douglas, a neighbor, We trying to hold the boy away from the dog, and the dog latched on to the kid." "The only thing I knew to do was grab my shovel, grab something to try to knock the dog off." There was a second dog involved in the incident. The second dog killed three cats.
