In way over my head, but my first game was a nail biting blast. Got to feel like a brave hero and we all worked together well. Second game got my shit pushed in by Michael Myers which actually made me jump. Did at least sacrifice myself for the two players who were carrying me that game since they'd have a better shot at winning.

I never play online games, but I'm trying to change that. So far it's this and Splatoon 3, but they are very similar games.

Boy these games are LONG. Love the cat and mouse game. Very impressed with it so far.

Great game. I was on and off this game for a really long time. Would go through several months of playing, then stop for a few months, then back on for a few months.

I haven't played in a while. But they continue adding killers and survivors which is cool.

Just try not to take the game too seriously. The dedicated fanbase is super toxic

Is communication key in this game? I like the idea of it but don't know anyone who plays and really don't chat it up with randoms.

I didn't like the pace of it. Like you said, the matches took too long.

I like the left 4 dead gimmick. The action and tension are always there, and playing as the zlmbies is always a blast.

Love the game. Best with friends. Most of the fanbase is toxic as hell, avoid them. Avoid most streamers who play the game, as few of them have good communities.

Not all of them are bad, of course. But a lot.

I'm just playing with randoms and I'm sure communication would help, but honestly it might really hurt the game if you can just hear other players be all "Hey the killer's over here."

Though good and bad teammates seem to be a thing for sure. I just try to do my part and not be selfish. Did come back to bite me in the ass once though which made me salty as hell.

Yeah I don't intend to. Plan on playing for a fun time not to make it to the top 18 competitive players in the world or whatever.

Only thing that got me hot was my third game cause I was doing great. I fixed 3 and a half generators, opened the door, made multiple saves and healed a ton. Then I hung behind to rescue 2 other players after I opened the door. Did it and then got caught for the first time in the process and hung up. Fuckers left me to rot and escaped like cowards. Couldn't believe it.

Not all of them are bad, of course. But a lot.

Only streamers I'd probably watch play this are PeachSaliva and PatStaresAt.

If you're on PC, I've been getting in the mood to play again, along with some friends who are just beginning.

Havent played in years, but I'm always down to be somewhat useful. Was usually a killer main, with jumpscare Myers and Hag playstyles.

Well there's been a pretty big change up with Vince being forced to legit retire due to sexual allegations. Triple H took over and is booking a lot more fan friendly things that a lot of people are into. Good time to jump back on.

There are some perks that are better suited for solo queue play. Stuff like 'Off the Record' can help you out by allowing you to take an extra hit from the killer without getting downed; helpful if teammates love to pre-drop Pallets. 'Wire Tap' is always fun, since it basically broadcasts the location of a generator to allies while displaying wall hacks of the killer's location.

If possible, try to complete generators in the middle of a map, then move to generators opposite those completed by teammates. This avoids the dreaded Three Gen situation, where the last generator needed is clusted together to allow the killer to watch all 3 simultaneously.

So Michael Myers has an insta kill thing he can use even if you avoid him the entire game and don't get caught once prior eh? That doesn't feel good. This salt I'm feeling has me feeling like I'm a regular player now.

Finding the generators on some of these maps is a fucking nightmare though. I get some have lights over them, but I just spent 20 minutes in a match and couldn't find 3 generators.

Yeah this game is really good. It's already probably the most I've been "into" an online game. I enjoyed TLoU's multiplayer and spent some time with Rocket League and Splatoon, but so far I really enjoy this.

Tomestone Piece is flat out broken and Judith's Tombstone while weaker is still kind of a bs addon in the game. Both desperately need to be change, but BHVR is really slow to address problematic things in the game.

There's some other stuff in the game that also desperately needs to be addressed, but at least for the most part the game has slowly been becoming more "fair" for both sides.

I found the game very boring and repetitive playing as the survivors. At least with Killers they get special abilities and passives that allow them to play differently from one another. I will admit though, playing against high level survivors that know what they're doing can be incredibly frustrating (which is a good thing). I know if I can't get that one guy i'm suppose to drop em and go for the others. But my pride wants me to hang the fucker at least once lol.

Eh, wasn't a fan. To each their own but it just didn't grab me.

As glitchy and broken as it sometimes was, and even though the online is dead AF, Friday The 13th was fun as hell IMO.

Friday's my favorite slasher franchise and I remember watching an hour or two of gameplay for that game. Seemed fun.

Give it some time, you'll hate the game sooner or later. Happens to everyone.

Also, the community is only second to the League of Legends community in terms of toxicity.
