Just heard about this, and it has my attention. Wondering if anyone can attest to it being any good, or if it isnt worth it?

Wondering if it ever goes on sale, too. For a game that old, $40 seems a bit pricey.

good ol' PianoSnow.

Went out of my way to buy the Swich cart. stopped giving a damn after two hours.
Did the same fucking thing for the other Tokyo RPG Factory games. Oninaki is the closest we'll get to Quintet greatness - still abandoned it after importing physical.

It's got a lot of problems.

  1. It has only 3 environments. Snow, ice cave, and grey block ruins.
  2. The music is piano solo. All of it. Not even drums. This sounds good on paper but while you're playing the game it ends up sounding more like your annoying neighbor kid practicing his piano directly into your ears.
  3. The way you learn skills is stupid. I don't want to rant for hours here just take my word for it that it's stupid.
  4. The battle system is like a soulless copy of Chrono trigger without any of the colorful fairy tale charm.
  5. Also the story sucks.
For $40 I'd definitely skip. It's just not a very fun game.

I enjoyed it for the most part. Kind of generic and and underwhelming at times since it was compared to Chrono Trigger a lot (the comparisons are valid). The soundtrack slaps
