I wish I could say it feels like a relief, but I don't notice any difference. Going to try to sleep on that side tonight and let gravity do it's thing. I'd rather not post pictures.

You're really not supposed to be cleaning inside your ear canal. The outside is fine. And unless you're scraping out earwax, no amount of cleaning will or should prevent earwax building up.
