I went to my uncle's house over the weekend and he had a bunch of people over. They were playing a card game with money, a game I'm not too familiar with (it's like Hold Em but a little more random) and I joined in and this girl was next to me. She super helped me out how to play, she had a great sense of humor, she moved here from the country I'm ethnically from so we had moments where we both understood specific things from my understanding of the foreign language and her understanding of English, she had great energy, we both made fun of how serious other people were, we both like drinking, she was touching my tats and commenting on them and playing around with them, we related on heartbreak, she kept touching my thigh and pulling away and saying "sorry" and I was just like "it's fine, I don't mind"

(we were all on the floor cross legged in a circle)

Gives me hope when I can find chemistry/attraction in random places but also makes me wanna sleep indefinitely when I can't just have it

She/my uncle live 2 hours away driving and I only go like once or twice a year. I know her Facebook but I was back and forth on if I should friend her back or just move on. Idk.

Been there. It's not meant to happen. You just met a nice person. The positive is it reminds you of what you want.

Look back at every coulda/shoulda/woulda and could you honestly tell yourself any one of them were it? Or could you see you probably see that such people could've just deterred you from your livelihood?
