Int/Dex from the very beginning. I dabbled for a tiny bit in Arcane when I got the Antspur Rapier which was a mistake; I disliked it so much that I didn't play for like a month. I didn't cheese things too much though. The only times I did the Comet Azur trick with was Malenia and that stupid tree spirit in the pool of rot. And for Malenia, it was just a bit of damage as she went into phase two.

I did also use a Mimic Tear on the last boss, but I was honestly just not enjoying that one at all. I managed to get to the big phase two once without it, instantly died, and then I said fuck it.

Nice. I'm on a second playthrough. Did a bleed arcane build for most of the game. But I got stonewalled hard at the fire giant. So I decided to respec to strength. Fun in a dumb way just using the brick hammer.

My original game build was dex/int.

That's funny, for Fire Giant, I completely abandoned my spells and power stanced Moonveil and the Meteoric Ore Blade. Spells didn't do much, but the bleed procs did work.

I can't imagine doing a second playthrough though. I did enjoy about 95% of my time with the game, but I was most definitely ready for it to be over. At 142 hours, I don't think I'll ever play it again lol.
