I'm not an explosives expert, but i'm not entirely sure it was the truck, mainly cause the piece of road that broke appears to still be intact on its own.
If the explosion was on the road, would'nt it be more broken apart?

The explosion from the truck allegedly set fire to fuel tankers on the rails, which then caused the massive fireball explosion.

Though it's not clear to me whether these fuel tankers were just sitting there on the bridge (which is incredibly stupid) or if they were on a moving train (which means incredible timing from the exploding truck).

If it was the truck, i think it's not so much lucky timing as much as they knew exactly when and where that train would be long before, especially of it's true that it came from the Russian side

Where are people getting the intel its from the truck? Apparently the have X-ray machines etc at both ends so I doubt it was the truck. Everything Ive seen suggests it came from under the bridge.

Even the bridge only being partially operational is a crushing blow to Russia's ability to supply its forces on the entire Southern front (Crimea included) and of course civilian supplies come the same way: it's a very clear signal to Crimeans that shit has gone sideways. There's no other rail line outside of the range of Ukrainian artillery.
If it's toast, they're utterly fucked.
