Looking better than S&S, but still vastly under where this series should be even considering hardware limitations. That fucking framerate on that flower race or whatever it is.

Yeah, and the draw distance on the grass was just awful.

However, they finally allow you to chance your eye shape, and you can make TMs yourself now; I wonder if any move can be made into a TM?

Man, the frame rate on those Sunflora and that Windmill is ROUUUUUUUGH >_>

It looks like all the moves had a certain number assigned to them, so probably not

This gen's mega/z-move/Dynamax. It gives them a different type and makes them look horribly ugly.

This is one of the better ideas they've had in a while though. Also makes Girafarig a relevant Pokemon again.

Not keen on the "send your Pokmon out to battle and collect things by itself" - just seems like a "this is for if you want to play the game without having to play the game" kinda thing like the mandatory Exp-Share.

I get it if you want to grind mindlessly, which really isnt needed for a pokemon game, but for fighting the grunts it seems really stupid.

Im pretty glad to see new evolutions for old pokemon that arent regional variants. Didnt need another Farfetchd situation where a new version of Girafarig gets anew evolution and the old version is even more forgotten and useless than before.

I wish they would stop with the new transformation/super move gimmick every game though.

Hey now, in BDSP nuzlockes it had its uses. Mostly for hardcore nuzlockes and taking on the fighting or water gym. But I digress.

It looks like it's really meant for just an easy way to grind materials. I think it's a good addition.

God forbid there's quality of life improvements. I love pokemon but mindless grinding for levels or EV's was never fun.

Yeah. One of the few things Sword/Shield did right was completely eliminate the need to EV train at all, since they lifted the limit on feeding your Pokemon vitamins. As long as you have the cash, you can max out your Pokemon's EVs instantly.

now we need jynx. Of the 6 in order from from Kanto she's the only one not to get anything. Scyther got an evolution and mega, Magmar and Electabuzz got babies and evolution and Pinsir got a Mega a few years ago, Mr. Mime got a baby, galar variant and evolution in Sword and Shield.

And also Tauros but he's always been great so he's not neccesary.
