My relationship with work is weird. I'm on the clock all the time technically. I live, eat, sleep, and do everything at 'work' <_<

Yeah, my work week is 40 hours. I rarely have enough work to fill those 40 hours, though.

Average 40-45

Some weeks more, some weeks maybe less. But I try to keep it right around 40 if at all possible.

Busy season I work 60-70. Light season I work like 25-30. A month or two a year I work 40 hours, but that's also when I take my vacation time. All in all I work 2000ish hours a year so it balances out

Probably more like ~42 hours at my regular 40 hrs/week job but then closer to 50 hours on the weeks where I work at my 2nd PRN job.

I usually work 48-56 hours a week, I have to actively work the entire time if I want to finish. I never get time off either but its worth it cuz I wouldnt be able to afford to transition in most other jobs that are available to me.

It would be 40 hours per week but I usually show up about an hour early and stay slightly late, plus I have to take work home fairly regularly, so it is a little higher, sometimes within the 50-59 range.

My time is pretty fluid now, and it's awesome. I usually go into the office in the mornings and 'work from home' in the afternoons. I can do my job in about 2 full days a week, so most of the afternoons I come home and watch shows, etc. and just answer phone calls for tech help.

Even back when I was in the office all 40 hours, I usually spent about 20 of those hours trying to find something else to do.

There are a few weeks a year where I end up working 60+ hours, though, if a large machine comes through the shop. This spring, for example, I anticipate having a good month of 60 hour work weeks.

I work a lot more than 40 hours a week. Probably 50ish in a standard working week which is still less than I worked back in the UK. But I also get fuckloads of holiday so it balances out.

I work for an engineering consulting firm as a software developer and they generally want us to submit 32-36 hours of billable customer work, and then fill in the remaining 4-8 hours with miscellaneous stuff like learning new languages, etcwhatever interests us

so yes technically I work 40 hours/week, but its okay if all 40 of those hours arent strictly work, which is nice

I would hate that. I don't think money is worth it, unless the job is actually useful.

As long as I don't cover for someone, I work 40. (Funny enough, I cover today)

Thankfully, a good number of my work hours are dead and filler.

Same case for me, except that I roughly do around 10 to 15 hours of actual work.

42-44 hours a week on average, yeah. I get compensated for working overtime though.

I do 6 or so hours of actual work but they pay me for 40

55-60 on average for me so far, although the hours should dip by alot during winter.

Unionized for a max 35 hours/week, usually work 30-35. I also refuse all overtime.

I work 30 but it's still considered full time.

40 hour week salary schedule, but I don't work 8 hours everyday. Just whenever I get my work done. I probably work more than all my other coworkers though who work 32-38 hours maybe.

when i did have job it was like 50 hours of staying at my unit a week on average. during exercises it increases to slightly above 60 hours.

i was prob outside for about 8.5 hours a day (extra 1.5 hours in the office filling out paperwork and returning tools) . actually performing a particular task maybe about 4 hours a day. lots and lots of waiting for ground equipment. components to arrive, or for aircraft to arrive (only on dayshift or if pilots are night-flying). tbh i hated having a job and i get nervous about having to find a job in the next year or so. I HATE WORKING :(
