Currently the 55 I can get for under $1000.

Im not concerned about the size since it will be far enough from the front of the desk to be fine. Comparing to a C2 or other options it seems the B2 has all the same capabilities outside of brightness and some specific upgrades that wouldnt affect me (like 4 HDMI 2.1 ports vs 2 on the B2well, I only need 1 really). Id use HDR but dont care much about it tbh for this specific TV, and SDR seems to actually be brighter in the ratings comparisons for the B2 so for monitor use I dont think itll be a downgrade.

The only other minor difference Im seeing is the bezel is about double the thickness and build-quality isnt quite as nice. I just dont think thats worth an extra $200-300.

I kinda want to go with a Sony A90K 48 as that seems like the ideal size but if the 55 B2 is on-par, I dont see that being an issue if I mount it and can push it flat to the wall. Plus the little bit larger for the secondary TV use is of course a benefit.

Any other recommendations I should compare? Im not going to get a dedicated OLED monitor because there are a couple TV features I actually use that I had considered but ruled out over no monitor having, and honestly not worried about burn-in with a TV as a monitor because that really isnt going to be the primary use.
