basically it needs to be coffee flavoured sugar milk. you get a coffee boost and a sugar rush and it tastes good. its the perfect drink. coffee sucks when theres little to no sugar if im being honest

I don't know anything about coffee, so I once ordered an Americano by random.

it's some of the most bitter, gross tasting stuff I can remember drinking that wasn't alcohol.

This is true with instant or really dark coffee. Not true with light and medium roasts, imo.

the sugar is meant to overpower the bitterness. coffee itself tastes fine imo when its not bitter

High end fresh ground stuff is drinkable by itself, grocery store stuff you are gonna need to add something unless you just drink black.

Plain coffee is gross. For me milk and artificial sweetners is the way to go.

I'll take sugar if I am out of sweetners or if I am somewhere that hasn't got any.

Its customary for Latinos to drink coffee sweet as all hell. I switched over to Oat milk since Im sorta lactose but it makes my coffee taste like old sock without sugar. Black is where its at most of the time for me.

I dont like overly sweet coffee it makes me feel sick. Black with a splash of cream is all I need. And the darker the roast the better.

Yeah. Don't expect ones available in the US to be as good, or even good at all in many cases.

Importing is pricy but I definitely get why some people do it just for certain snacks and the like.

Black coffee is life for me.

Ever notice that it's only ever been adults destroying the world in the name of profit? I'll do everything in my power never to become one.

I drink black coffee all the time. I'll usually only add sugar/cream if the coffee is really bad and needs help, like on an airplane or something. Although even airplane coffee is higher quality nowadays than it was 10-20 years ago.

I've had a lot of Korean instant coffee because I got it as a joke gift from a friend in Korea. Some of it was decent, but most of it was so sweet it barely tasted like coffee. I don't know enough about the different brands to say whether this was representative or not, though.

It depends on how I make it. Iced coffee I just add a bit of agave syrup and that's generally all I need.

When I do make hot coffee I usually am making it as a latte and those need no sweetener because the milk is sweet enough.

So basically, you prefer coffee when it's no longer actually coffee then?

Coffee is great in any form. The cozy warmth of a hot latte. The invigorating bitterness of a cold americano. The comforting sweetness of a fellatioccino. No matter the occasion, there's a coffee that goes perfectly with it.

I cant recall when I stopped putting sugar in my coffee, but Ive been using just cream for years now.

I remember being a kid too

only thing i put in coffee is cinnamon. either in powder form or a stick.

its much more healthy than sugar. plus it gives it a smoother taste...
