I feel like turning on the interior dome light at night was some big no-no when I was a kid. It's as if my parents were blinded by and couldn't see the road anymore. I also believed that it was illegal to have the light on while driving at night for some reason. well you shouldnt drive with interior lights on. It reduces visibility. Thats why the bridge on a ship switches to night mode, and pilots dont fly with all the lights on.... Also why instruments are generally backlit in a vehicle to reduce unnecessary light. And no. My dad would get annoyed when i did that as a kid. Also why instruments are generally backlit in a vehicle to reduce unnecessary light.I don't have much trouble on the occasion the light is on while I'm driving.
