I am working on my goal actually. It's just a bit unclear and indistinct.

I have none. As for why, hard to say. Best answer I can give is that I've become "dull". I can't envision such things anymore. It feels like it hurts but I can't feel the pain.

Already achieved most of them.
My writing's at a good level--Got my writing good enough to place highly in writing contests, and received two unsolicited publishing offers for a couple novels (I denied because they're too general and too unspecialized in their catalogues)
My artistic ability's at a good level--Get regular art commission requests for supplemental income.
Got a great job in my field.
Said job offered to send me overseas to East Asia due to my language knowledge of the areas.
Fluent in three languages and working on a fourth.

And I'm not even 30 yet. Gotta keep pushin'~

Living in America

No offense, but if you can't achieve your goals or dreams through the USA, when there's a ton of resources readily available to do so and just WAITING for people to use them (Including staying in the USA or using said resources to go to other countries) ...yeah you were probably never cut out to have your dreams fulfilled in the first place :x
Heck, so many international programs and opportunities include the USA BECAUSE we're in the USA, and they prioritize this country as a result. Which makes me pity you even more.

It absolutely blows my mind at all the options Americans have (Like the sheer number of scholarships available for school that states just sit on 'cause no one ever applies for them for some reason), but they'd rather be held down by the media telling them they're held back and looking to blame everyone but themselves instead of putting in a little work.

Though it might be because I have good parents who taught me to work for what I want...

I've honestly never really had any life goals or dreams.

I mostly just live my life day to day and try to enjoy myself. I'm not working towards anything or trying to achieve something.

As long as I've got my own place, beer in my fridge and good tunes playing, I'm content with my life.

Lack of discipline. Its literally only that, because I have the perfect life right now to be going for it. Well, perfect besides being rich and not having to work at all.

I don't really have much in the way of goals or dreams. I do have severe social anxiety and struggle with depression, and I live in an extremely poor area filled with terrible people, so...

I want to be a film critic, but have a lot of self-doubt. I'm confident once I'm doing most things, but getting started - especially when I'm already firmly into another career - is the hard part

Visiting all the national parks west of the Mississippi River is my long term goal. Only thing stopping me is money and lack of vacation time from work. I've got several under my belt already and trying to do a few each year.

Next would be getting good enough at disc golf to get an even score (par average or better) on a typical course. Started playing last year and have some decent skill so far but need to develop more throws/techniques and improve my range.

Lastly learning to play the piano at a competent level is one I've had for awhile. I bought an electric piano about 11-12 years ago and started learning then but life circumstances changed where I had to move back in with my parents and had to store it in the garage. Once I bought my own home about 4 years ago, I've had it out in the living room but hadn't been inspired to take it up again until just this month.
