This guy that I've never seen before approached me and said he remember me from high school. He got the name of the high school right but I have no clue who he was. Either way, I was down with talking to him and jogging my memory.

He said I use to hang out with him and this circle of people. He started naming off names and descriptions I did not recognize. And when I started naming people I was friends with, he wasn't familiar with any of them.
He said he graduated in 2016, which was 3 years after me, meaning he was likely a Freshman when I was a Senior. I don't recall hanging around underclassmen in high school at that time.
He couldn't describe our principal, or at rathe, the one that was there when I was still in high school.

Then after, he really wanted to follow me to where I was going next. And, you know, I politely declined.

Now I'm all slightly paranoid and shit for no reason lol. Cause, again, he got the high school right. Maybe I had some twin I went to school with that I didn't know about.

Yeah he probably misidentified you, but happened to go to the same HS.

As a TI you need to always be on the lookout. They are everywhere.

If youre 3 years apart, your circle of friends were likely different, but it sounds like you were in the same school for one year, right?

Maybe hes misremembering your importance, but still remembers you. Or maybe you each had friends who were buddies and occasionally your paths would cross.

Dunno how old you are, but old memories can literally be untrue sometimes. Especially childhood memories.

The guy made it sound like we were regularly hanging out around the same circle of people. I remember high school enough to know that certainly wasn't the case. Hell, I'm still friends with some people from high school.

He said we knew a girl named Katherine who came to school dressed up like a cat a few times. Wtf? I would have definitely remembered some shit like that if I ever witnessed it.
