Lets say you are a coworker in your job and you apply for the Manager position you would report to, and you get it.

What is a reasonable salary increase percentage for you? 5%? 10%? 15-20%?

Lotta factors involved, but I would hope at LEAST 20. Management has far more responsibility and less leeway for error. As a worker, your shitty mistakes at worst just get YOU fired. But as a manager, your workers' shitty mistakes can get YOU fired.

At least 20% for me to want it. I'm not taking on a bunch of extra work for a 5% pay bump. I already get a annual pay increase for no extra work lol

It also depends on how tenured you are in your current position. I make more than some supervisors because of when I was hired. Also, if youre going from hourly to salary, you should ask for at least 20%.
